Mt. Snowdon, Snowdonia, North Wales    1972

‘Dib, dib, dib’ .. and all that! However, as you can see from the fantastic Welsh landscape in the background, getting dragged up a mountain by a fanatical Scoutmaster wasn’t actually all that bad! Of course, I got the usual first-aid, cooking, tent-erecting and goodwill badges, but my most prized was my fire-lighting badge .. that one was acquired quite by accident! (I think I set fire to the tent). Young boys and matches, eh?
